HL7 Feeds
STARR has a HL7 workflow dating back over a decade. The HL7 feeds are received from both hospitals over TCP/IP. Receivers save HL7 messages to local folders. A message copier continually copies live files to NFS. A nightly archival process copies files at midnight to NFS with a timestamp and truncates the live file.
At this time, there are more feeds from the adult hospital. These feeds are part of our Complex Event Processing (CEP) Engine that is used for real time alerting. Access to HL7 feeds require a technology consultation service.
